Writers Victoria

Join celebrated playwright and novelist Jane Harrison for the next edition of the Established Author Forum on Thursday, 13 June. In this session, Harrison will explore the lessons she has taken from theatre and applied to prose.

Part creative development, part networking, part writing group, the Established Author Forum features in-depth lectures at a high level from prominent writers on the topics they know best, as well as an opportunity to ask questions about their work and your own. Discover more here.

The Wheeler Centre

The Wheeler Centre has added exciting new conversations to our June and July programming. At this brand new event, join Meredith Whittaker and Vanessa Toholka on Wednesday, 26 June to discuss data privacy, artificial intelligence, and technology’s impact on democracy in this contentious and pivotal US election year.

You can discover more about our new events by visiting our upcoming events page.

The Moat

Saturday, 15 June is World Martini Day! Come celebrate the king of all cocktails at The Moat, where they’ll be pouring $15 martinis all day long in partnership with The Melbourne Gin Company. On World Martini Day, the real question is not just “How do you like your martini?”, but “How many olives is too many olives?”

Together, we can change the conversation.
