Lee Lai is an Australian cartoonist living in Tio’tia:ke (known as Montreal, Quebec).

She has been featured in The New Yorker, McSweeneys, The New York Times and others, and was recently named one of the 5 under 35 honorees by the National Book Foundation. Her first graphic novel, Stone Fruit, was released with Fantagraphics, Sarbacane, Coconino and other publishers, and was awarded two Ignatz for Outstanding Artist and Outstanding Graphic Novel. Mostly she writes about people eating, talking, and making questionable decisions.
