The Listies: Ickypedia
There are two session times available for this workshop: 11am-12pm and 2pm-3pm. You will be prompted to select your session when booking your tickets.
Sensible young people: turn away now. This event is not for you. Australia’s silliest kids’ comedians, the Listies, are coming to the Wheeler Centre for an event that’s rated ‘S’ for ‘stupid’.
At this riotous school holiday workshop, the Listies will introduce kids aged six to ten to their new literary masterwork, Ickypedia: A Dictionary of Disgusting New Words. What are the definitions of ‘spewtiful’, ‘alphaburp’ and ‘zinkelgritting’? The Listies will present answers to these perplexing questions. Next, the audience will coin their own nonsense neologisms, engage in some idle zoodling (drawing animals that don’t exist) and pen disgusting pooetry.
Expect terrible toilet humour, bizarre flights of fancy and LOLs audible from Lapland.
