In this interactive workshop designed for Grade 5 and 6-aged children, 2022-23 Australian Children’s Laureate Gabrielle Wang will lead participants on an engaging dragon drawing experience, where they will learn how to create their own magical creatures and bring them to life on the page.
During the process, Wang will also share her creative inspiration, and speak about her journey to becoming an author and her experiences growing up with Chinese heritage in Australia.
Materials will be provided, so all participants need to bring is their imagination and a sense of adventure.

There are two free workshops available on Wednesday 26 April at Warrnambool Library.
Workshop One: 11.30am-12.30pm
