A House of One’s Own: Creativity in Residence
Support opportunities for writers take many forms – but what is their true impact? On the 10th anniversary of RMIT University’s McCraith House Creative Residency Program, join a panel of past residents to explore the personal and professional influence of writing support.
About the event
Since 2013, RMIT’s McCraith House Creative Residency Program has offered writers and creatives dedicated space and time to immerse themselves in their practice, located in the beautiful surrounds of the Mornington Peninsula.
To celebrate the Program’s 10th anniversary, join some of the house’s past residents – including Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript winners André Dao and Keshe Chow, author of The Hummingbird Effect Kate Mildenhall, and host Francesca Rendle-Short – as they share their work and discuss the varying impacts of prizes, residencies, and support opportunities for writers.
The bookseller for this event is Neighbourhood Books.
Presented in partnership with RMIT Culture.
