Presented and chaired by acclaimed broadcaster Peter Mares, the discussions will feature high-profile professionals talking about the books that have been important to them and have influenced their profession.

When she first went to university she thought she’d be a scientist, it all changed when she accidentally enrolled in a classics class instead.
Maryanne Confoy is a Sister of Charity.
Her first spiritual direction came from fiction. She’s the author of a biography of the Australian novelist Morris West. She’s interested in the psychology of religious development.
Sarah L’Estrange loves nothing more than to read a novel and then interview the author, and she gets to do it every week in her current role producing The Book Show, ABC Radio National.
