Laugh Breaks: Finding the Limelight
‘How did you get your big break?’ It’s a question asked of every successful performer in the comedy industry. Tales abound of mates dobbing in mates for open mic comedy comps, along with household names who cut their teeth doing sketch, improv or stand-up in late-night comedy rooms.
Is it luck, timing, talent or all three? Laugh Breaks: Finding the Limelight will see a fantastic panel of comedians share tales of ‘making it’ in showbiz. They’ll share how they worked their way up the ladder (or smashed through the barriers); and discuss how to launch a successful comedy career. Join us for an entertaining event about discovery, fame and those career-defining moments that can change an artist’s trajectory.
